The Holy Quran says: "Ramadan is the (month) in which was sent down the Holy Quran, as a guide to mankind, also clear (Signs) for guidance and judgment (Between right and wrong)." (2:185)
This means that in the month of Ramadan, one should get to know the Holy Quran better and, through the clearance of guidance, take a broader view of the right and wrong of life. The Holy Quran says: "O you who believe! fasting is prescribed for you, as it was prescribed for those before you, so that you may guard (against evil)." (2:183)
Bismillah Ar- Rahman
I dont know either this post is so special, or it is just a so-called 'special edition' post. I don't know what my heart is saying now, even what my thought is thinking about. Perhaps my mind is messy with certain matters that have not been settled yet.
Thinking about the t-shirt design (for the play The Merchant of Venice that we gonna have to stage at the end of september) that I have to touch up as soon as possible (the due date is tomorrow), yet did not catch my interest to continue doing it.
(designs - x seberapa sgt pon)
So,I am googling Saiful Islam, and few others' blogs to read their words, as to purify my soul. Hamdalah. Oh ya, I will be going back home this Sunday. I am so excited coz at least we were given the chance to fast and break at home for 1 week with our family, even though not for the first day of ramadhan. (sounds sad)
okay2..continue.
Ramadhan is coming. Each of us is aware about that right?
What are you aiming for?
Nothing?
Or something?
You are the one who can answer that not even me.
And yeah.
Today is our first day to perform the solat tarawikh and hamdalah, I had given the chance to perform it at musollah. I could see the 'normal' view in the musollah plus most of the students here had gone back home, except us, the TESL students. Before the isya' athan, the musolla was playing the Al-quran words and suddenly my tears dropped dow. I was thinking on what I have done in seeking Allah's blessing and forgiveness? Does it enough to bring islam back to 'its' place? or you just merely do nothing but keep focusing at your work.
Reflection for myself.
Is the ramadhan that I want would give benefits to myself and others?
will I get the blessing from the Almighty Allah?
I feel very afraid if I am so busy with my work, not even appreciate the month of barakah which Allah have promised us with His tremendous blessing!
As for me,
I am just a normal person yet a weak slaver who has got many more things to be learned, to be taught, to be done in seeking His love.
I challenge myself, for at least to do some changes, or even a change, that would re-establish my relationship with Allah.
a change?
some changes?
am I strong enough?
dear,
be strong!
keep mujahadah!
this is the time for you to do the changes, even not to the others, but you yourself.
this is the time for us to strengthen our iman, upgrade our amal and purify our heart and soul.
from less recitation of al-quran, to even more tadarrus and tadabbur.
from less solat sunat to even more sunnah doings,
from less readings which could purify my heart to even more!
and from less time spent for HIM, to even bigger!
I wish I want to feel the barakah of Ramadhan month with the blessing from you, Allah!
Bear in mind,
the changes that we want to do are in our hands.
Dare to beat the challenge?
Oh lord!
Give us the strength!
but still,
thanks to Allah for every single thing that you have given to me and others.
Syukurlillah.
for the nikmat iman and nikmat islam that we have gained.
alhamdulillah.
Something across my mind.
A friend of mine has said to me,
"bulan ramadhan kelak bakal merubah sgala2nya"
where it is the platform for the person
to practically memorise the quranul kareem to be Ahlullah.
and how about us?
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever fasts during Ramadan with faith and seeking his reward from Allah will have his past sins forgiven. Whoever prays during the nights in Ramadan with faith and seeking his reward from Allah will have his past sins forgiven. And he who passes Lailat al-Qadr in prayer with faith and seeking his reward from Allah will have his past sins forgiven (Bukhari, Muslim).
"O Allah, greet and save me for Ramadan; greet and save Ramadan;
greet and save Ramadan on my behalf, and grant me its acceptance."
SALAM RAMADHAN AL-MUBARAK from me!
MAY THIS MONTH BRINGS A NEW SPRING TO US!
insyaALLAH
Those that turn to Allah in repentance;
that serve Him, and praise Him;
that wander in devotion to His cause (al-sa'ihun);
that bow down and prostrate themselves in prayer;
that enjoin good and forbid evil;
and observe the limits set by Allah --
these do rejoice!
So proclaim the glad tidings to the believers. (9:112)
