Disini bermula

Alhamdulillah.
Today is 28th Oct. 09. Which means, my blog is celebrating his first birthday.;)

With 13 859 visitors, 130 followers, 92 posts and 855 comments,
all are highly appreciated.
I am so happy to see the increase of the counters, even though the comments seem reduce.
Never mind. I don't really mind. My concern is to give something to my readers, and it is hope that the writings can touch our soul.insyaALLAH.
Thank you for silently following my blog.;)
And I feel very delighted when you respond to my post through comments and shouts.

Oh. I realised that my writing was so 'childish' at the early stage of my blogging habit.
Getting involved in blogging somehow,

has widen my perspective towards many things especially in islamic teachings and also current issues.
has improved my interpersonal skills through the reply of comments.
has enhanced my writing skills especially in English.
has challenged me to write things that are related to religious matter in English which I just can't imagine before.
has expanded my networks through the links,comments and shouts.
has given me chances to express my own views in the most friendly way which suit my own way of writing.
has given me the best platform to relate things that I encountered in my life from the religious views
has urged me to do some extra readings in a way of improving my tsaqafah.
has improved my critical thinking and speaking skills which have helped me a lot in my study.

and many more which I can't list here.:)
and of course,
my first priority,

to do da'wa by using this medium.

Alhamdulillah.

who knows, perhaps, from this small habit it can trigger me to write English or Malay novel or even arabic? hahaha! I'm just dreaming. ;). I'm so eager to write articles/books especially for religious materials in English. One day,insyaALLAH, biiznillah.;)
and one more,who knows if this blog can be like 'saiful islam' one day?.^^, biiznillah.

for those who follow my blog from the beginning stage until now, if you notice, there are a lot of changes in this blog.
I mean,the changes in the writing style and also the contents and approaches.

Oh ya. Miss one thing. The template too!

After finishing my schooling days at kisas, the continuous (and sometime on-off) tarbiyah that ALLAH has given to me somehow enhance my understanding of islam.
and of course, I'm really grateful for any nikmat that I have got as I live on this earth. Alhamdulillah. Not intention to be proud of that or what so ever, but the concern is the continuous tarbiyah that we have to maintain with the guidance from the God.

In my personal view, the eagerness to write blog initially started when I started to realise that there is a big responsibility for us as a muslim to do da'wa (dakwah) to others.

Dan demikian (pula) Kami telah menjadikan kamu (umat Islam), umat pertengahan agar kamu menjadi saksi atas (perbuatan) manusia dan agar Rasul (Muhammad) menjadi saksi atas (perbuatan) kamu (Al-Baqarah 2:143)

Oh, don't get wierd if I mentioned about the term 'da'wa' here.
It covers so many things, even for a word, it may be considered as doing da'wa, if the matter can benefit people even not in religious aspect.
When I began to realise that, at this time we are holding a big responsibility to spread the words of ALLAH and the sunnah.

And if we have studied islamic history, which we can see the downward of islam, and islam is at the top of the world (or we called as 'ustaziatul alam' aka world order)

History is just a 'history', but the concern is,
what we have done to reflect on the history?
what we have done to uphold islam to be at the top of everything?

Karena itu hendaklah orang-orang yang menukar kehidupan dunia dengan kehidupan akhirat berperang di jalan Allah. Barangsiapa yang berperang di jalan Allah, lalu gugur atau memperoleh kemenangan maka kelak akan Kami berikan kepadanya pahala yang besar (An-Nisa'- 4:74)

as what ALLAH has promised,
there will be one day where islam is at the highest place,
therefore, perhaps, with the small efforts that we have done today,
islam will be at the top one day,insyaALLAH.

Dan Allah tidak menjadikannya (mengirim bala bantuan itu), melainkan sebagai kabar gembira dan agar hatimu menjadi tenteram karenanya. Dan kemenangan itu hanyalah dari sisi Allah. Sesungguhnya Allah Maha Perkasa lagi Maha Bijaksana.(Al-Anfal-8:10)

orang-orang yang beriman dan berhijrah serta berjihad di jalan Allah dengan harta, benda dan diri mereka, adalah lebih tinggi derajatnya di sisi Allah; dan itulah orang-orang yang mendapat kemenangan. (At-Taubah-9:20)

to uphold islam to be at the top, we must first touch the believers' heart to at least

have the islamic awareness in their heart,
use the countless-practical-excellent guides in the al-quran as the manual in their life,
willingly to contribute anything for the sake of our religion,
love doing things which can benefit themselves and also the ummah,insyaALLAH!

let's we together commit our responsibiilty,
use any of our abilities to contribute to our own religion, the most perfect teaching, which is islam which covers everything!

the concern is, not only to have the knowledge of islam, but it must come together with tarbiyah which slowly can smoother the believers' heart to understand the real understanding of islam.insyaALLAH.
and from where we can get the tarbiyah? There are so many!
and one of them is through usrah.insyaALLAH.

Dan (ingatlah), ketika Allah mengambil janji dari orang-orang yang telah diberi kitab (yaitu): "Hendaklah kamu menerangkan isi kitab itu kepada manusia, dan jangan kamu menyembunyikannya," lalu mereka melemparkan janji itu ke belakang punggung mereka dan mereka menukarnya dengan harga yang sedikit. Amatlah buruknya tukaran yang mereka terima. (Ali Imran 3:187)

if we are clear with our aim, I think we have no time to waste our time, and do jahiliah things.
It is us to determine either we want to do or not.
Ya ALLAH. help us!
